Din păcate, Traian Băsescu a continuat să facă „glumiţe” pe seama liderilor politici ce nu-l acceptă ca mare cârmaci, să-şi ţină adepţii din PDL în braţe indiferent de ce fac aceştia şi nu în ultimul rând să creadă că este singurul care deţine adevărul în această ţară. După anunţul făcut în luna mai privind reducerile de salarii şi pensii, preşedintele a dispărut din spaţiul public. Speculaţiile au apărut evident imediat. Chiar dacă nu sunt dintre cei care îi simt în mod acut lipsa cred totuşi că momente precum cele prin care trecem în aceste zile ar fi reclamat prezenţa şefului statului. Ceea ce nu a înţeles Traian Băsescu este faptul că rolul unui şef de stat nu este acela de a dinamita guverne, cum a tot încercat cu echipa lui Tăriceanu, nici de a se amesteca în viaţa partidelor ci de a fi cât se poate de prezent în asemenea momente măcar şi pentru a da mesaje mobilizatoare pentru cei afectaţi de inundaţii şi de a face ca mecanismele statului să atingă o turaţie maximă. Nimic din toate acestea nu se întâmplă şi pentru că nu vrem să facem speculaţii inutile ne punem doar câteva întrebări privind cauzele pentru care Traian Băsescu e dispărut de ceva vreme.

De câteva luni bune ni se spune că suntem în criză şi cu toate acestea nu vedem să existe un comportament în consecinţă a celor care se află astăzi la guvernarea României. Când spunem asta ne gândim la faptul că în continuare se fac anagajări în unele instituţii bugetare, la faptul că nici în aceste momente nu auzim vorbindu-se despre desfiinţarea unor ministere sau agenţii guvernamentale cât despre alocarea discreţionară a unor fonduri s-a vorbit deja enorm. Dovada cea mai clară a acordării unor tratamente diferenţiate pentru diferite instituţii ale statului român am avut-o la votarea bugetului de stat pe acest an. Favorizat atunci, dar şi acum, a fost Serviciul de Telecomunicaţii Speciale. Instituţie dragă preşedintelui României, S.T.S pare să nu cunoască criza şi se comportă în consecinţă. Din păcate nu e singura de acest tip.

Mărturisesc că nu am dat un răspuns exact deorece nu am asistat până acum la nici o discuţie de acest tip şi nici nu ştiu să se fi luat în calcul în vreun for al PNL, această posibilitate. Bucurie de Ziua Copilului
Copil fiind mă bucuram nespus când primeam cadouri, iar bucuria era și mai mare când o împătășeam cu prietenii mei. Și asta se întâmpla la fiecare 1 iunie, de ziua noastră…
Chiar dacă nebunia din această țară tinde să ne cuprindă pe toți și existența noastră pare să se reducă la cuvântul criză, am reușit să mă bucur din plin, împreună cu prieteni dragi din PNL, sărbătorind Ziua Internațională a Copilului alături de copiii internați în Secția de Oncologie a Spitalului ”Sf. Maria” din Iași.
Prin spectacolul pe care l-am organizat și l-am urmărit cu mare plăcere, precum și prin cadourile pe care le-am oferit tuturor copiilor prezenți, am dat zilei de 1 iunie frumusețea pe care o merită. De fapt asta se datorează bucuriei pe care am surprins-o pe chipurile copiilor internați și entuziasmului atât de prezent în rândurile copiilor de la Palat, deosebit de bucuroși că își pot petrece ziua cu cei de-o vârstă cu ei dar care sunt în suferință. Pe când era profesor la Cluj am zis despre el ca e un tip ambiţios deşi cam populist după gusturile mele. După ce a devenit om politic am crezut ca e un politician iscusit şi dornic de afirmare. Devenit şef de partid în 2005 a început deja să creadă că este mai important decât era în mod real. Faptul că timp de patru ani nu a ieşit din cuvântul lui Traian Băsescu nu m-a mirat prea mult într-o ţară în care cuvântul şefului contează mai mult decât opiniile individuale în foarte multe cazuri. Când după doar şase ani de activitate într-o formaţiune politică, devii din simplu membru preşedinte, îţi trebuie foarte multă tărie de caracter pentru a nu te transforma în preşul personajului căruia îi datorezi o asemenea ascensiune. Răsplata pentru slugărnicia lui faţă de şeful statului a venit în toamna lui 2008 când a fost numit prim ministru. Performanţe guvernamentale nu am aşteptat nici o clipă din partea lui. Am sperat doar să fie corect şi să nu se lase cuprins de beţia puterii.
